Jo StanfordDirector Restoration Ministries was formed at Northridge to help bring spiritual, emotional and physical healing and wholeness to the Body of Christ. We believe Jesus continues to set people free from negative behavior patterns and demonic influences. We desire to help individuals step into that freedom so that each member can be restored to God’s original design, fully functioning according to his plan and purpose for our lives, ministering the love of Christ everywhere we go. One of the ways we frequently see God move to bring freedom to the lives of His people is through our individual prayer ministry. This ministry aims to help emotionally wounded people find healing and restoration through a personal encounter with the Holy Spirit. The method sometimes used is referred to as Theophostic Ministry© (TPM). TPM was developed by Dr. Ed Smith and is based on the scripture “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” John 8:36 NKJV. This is not a counseling ministry, it is a prayer ministry done by appointment and made available through the church office. Examples of areas this ministry has proven to be effective in are:
Another ministry tool utilized within Restoration Ministries that is very effective in bringing freedom to individual lives is the ministry of Family Foundations International (FFI). FFI was founded by Craig Hill, who has written and produced a series of seminars that are formatted to combine an intensive time of teaching from God’s Word with times of sharing, prayer and ministry within a small group setting. Small groups are led by trained facilitators to give opportunities for ministry in the specific area of the person’s life, marriage or family that correlates with the teaching topics of the seminar. Various seminar topics include: Communications
Blessing and Cursing
Purpose and Plan
Battle for the Soul
Identity and Destiny
