Renewal Ministers Fellowship

Renewal Ministers Fellowship, under the direction our senior Apostle, Dr. Charles Stanford, will ordain and set forth ministers under the direction and oversight of Renewal Ministers Fellowship Council of Northridge Church, Pensacola, Florida 32514.

Northridge Church has the authority to ordain Ministers who readily accept the spiritual oversight of Renewal Ministers Fellowship, and meet the necessary criteria for ordination.

Given that we must allow for flexibility within the body of Christ for different methods of worship and administration, this arrangement allows each minister the freedom to conduct his or her ministry in the spirit of renewal and without interference by a controlling body, providing the minister does not depart from scriptural basis within his or her ministry.

Renewal Ministers Fellowship (RMF) is affiliated with Christian Foundational Network (CFN), headed by Ken Sumrall, Founder of CFN and Northridge Church. For more information about CFN, please visit their website at www.churchfoundationalnetwork.com.

Our Purpose

To promote the apostolic ministry, to provide oversight and fellowship for those ministering the Gospel, and to provide a place where people who feel they are called of God to the five-fold ministry of the Gospel can come under spiritual authority to be ordained for ministry.

What does Renewal mean?

Renewal is a word that speaks of the spirit of revival. It means to renew the areas in our lives that have grown cold to the Lord Jesus because of the influence of the world and satanic spirits. We have a strong desire to see lost souls come to the Lord Jesus and to be involved in the establishment of new ministries for His work and glory. Thus, we are a renewal fellowship.

Why join Renewal Ministers Fellowship?

Our mission is to provide spiritual oversight and a place of relationship for five-fold ministers of the Gosepl. In these last days before our Lord's return there continues to be a greater need for ministers to form relationships and fellowship with those who are of like mind and ministry. When we join together we are stronger, safer and better connected to the body of Christ.

We try to meet several times each year for direction from our senior apostle and fellowship with other ministers. Members are required to attend at least one meeting per calendar year.

Criteria of Ministry Recognition

Ordained Members would meet the following criteria:

  • Those who are actively involved in a full or part-time position within a church, where payment is rendered
  • Those who are on the mission field
  • Those who have had over 15 years of experience in full-time ministry, but may not be actively ministering at the present time
  • Those who are connected with a ministry that requires ordination

Fellowship Members would meet the following criteria:

  • Those who have a heart for ministry, but are not involved in an organized ministerial position
  • Those who are not receiving any compensation for service as minister
  • Those who plan on any activity or full-time ministry position in the future
  • Those who have a volunteer position within a church or ministerial organization
