Ladies Ministry
Hi, my name is Alisa Coffey.
I reside in Pace, Fl with a hubby who believes in motherhood and the benefits of mothering our children 24/hrs a day, 7 days a week. This is the highest calling on my life and I take it very serious! I teach my four children at home spiritually, physically, academically, and emotionally. Cleaning, cooking, changing diapers, and laundry are added bonuses to my day! Spending time with my Lord, helping other women see themselves as God sees them, and supporting my sweet husband in his financial career is yet another blessing. I Thank God for all His goodness even through the trials that DO come!
The other evening I was so blessed to hear a conversation between two women I had never met before. I love to watch and learn from those a step ahead of me in life. I listened to one pray so powerfully and so humbly, and it encouraged me to hear her earnest pleas, and fervent faith. The other woman shared how she is battling cancer. She said that although she felt she could have done without this in her life, she knew the Lord was walking right beside her. She said she figured God must have felt that she couldn't have done without experiencing this illness, and He was going to walk alongside her through it all, no matter what happened. She said whether she saw physical healing or not, she knew that she truly was healed because her Saviour was with her, and that was the best part. These women were so gracious and calm, and they unknowingly taught by example how to walk with the Lord. Praise God for the body of Christ, that we can watch and learn from one another, especially from those that are a few steps ahead of us. (Ecclesiastes 4:9,10)
As I walk with the Lord in His direction, I pray that we, the women of Christ, connect young and wise (Titus 2) and encourage each other. My vision for the ladies ministry is to allow the Holy Spirit to manifest in each of our spiritual gifts (Romans 12:3-7) that connects all women and that NO woman walks away hopeless; BUT, FULL of Hope and the goodness of our sweet Savior!
